Creating educational opportunities for professionals and students is an important component of Ms. Franck's practice. Over the past twenty years she has developed, directed and adminstered educational programs such as the ICA&CA's Certificate in Classical Architecture for Design and Construction Professionals; the Summer Program in Classical Architecture; the Rome and Naples Architectural Drawing Tours; the Continuing Education & Certificate program; and the first two American Summer Schools of the Prince of Wales's Foundation.
After serving a teaching appointment in Rome for the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture in 1996 and 1997, she was appointed the first Executive Director of the then named Institute of Classical Architecture (now ICAA). She has served as Visiting Associate Professor at the University of Notre Dame and was appointed the Harrison Design Associates Scholar at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2013 she was appointed the first Director of Contemporary Traditional Architecture Initiatives at the University of Colorado Denver College of Architecrure and Planning, where she founded the Center for Advanced Research in Traditional Architecture.
